Ben Cousins not fighting under Mundine

The news is in that Ben Cousins has withdrawn from Anthony Mundine’s undercard bout.
Speculation is rife that he was spooked by a compulsory drug test.

Enough about poor Ben, am sick to death of the public and in particular the media flogging a dead horse, he is no longer public property so let him get on with his rehab and leave the poor fellow alone. I will always think you are great Benny so keep your chin up and tell the do gooders where to go. SUCH IS LIFE!!!!!!!!

hello people? the guy has an addiction problem. Do any of you know what an addiction is? It's not somthing that can be cured just by saying "I'm not going to do it any more" It can take years. Cut the poor guy some slack, he's doing his best.

I knew I was right the first time he will never clean up his act, Old Benny boy will end up in the gutter "what am I saying I think he is already there" , so let's just forget about him and think about more important isssues in the world.

I think most people are sick of hearing about Ben Cousins. It seems obvious why he pulled out of the boxing match when it was stated that he had to have a blood test.

another too well paid child who wants his cake and eat it too he needs to remember that when you become a sports star you are public property whether he likes it or not if he doesnt like the attention that comes with it he can always quit and keep a low profile which he obviously doesnt want to do he made his bed let him sleep in it and maybe he will finally grow up instead of relying on his father to get him out of the mess he seems hellbent on creating for himself he has only himself to blame im sure he knows right from wrong!

Give it a rest. He needs to concentrate on getting himself healthy. Getting involved with Mundine was never going to be good for his recovery. I wish him all the best and hope he can escape from the purgatory of public life.

Give him a break. He has never been found positive for drugs. He has admitted he has a drug problem, and taken steps to resolve that problem.
Saying that he has to have a blood test is implying that they dont believe he is off drugs. Imagine how that must feel?
Instead of slamming him, why dont we support him? Let him have his privacy, stop assuming things and hope that he overcomes his drug problem.
