Im only 24 but have grown up listening to him so me and my Mum went to the concert together. The lighting and screens were amazing and made for some great photos! Rod's personal photo montage that went with the songs was awesome too. But the chairs were too small and too close together for comfort. The only other criticism was the train services... they were absolutely shocking!

I didnt go and I am glad you all enjoyed his show. I was appalled at how many people are crammed into these concerts at exhorbitant prices for profit, with little regard to the viewing and paying public. they know huge numbers will pay, *these entertainers are bringing once in a lifetime events* grumble after but still go...we are buzzed by the 'opportunity' shameful... we deserve better...

I went and saw Rod with my husband and we loved it. I wish i was up closer to get a soccer ball that he was kicking. I didn't like the chairs tied together they were too close. The back up singers and the rest of the team were great as well.

I have been to many of Rod's concerts in Perth and would have to say this one was the best. I did buy $180 tickets on the oval but everyone was boring and sitting in their seats so we moved up near the bar so we could dance and we actually got a better view of Rod. He has so much energy for his age and I hope he does come back again, I loved the venue much better than subi oval when he came last time.

Rod was great and sexy and all the girl singers and musicians were excelent. I also enjoyed the videos. I didn't like the chairs joined together either!

I have been a Rod fan for more years than I care to remember! I am in awe of a truly amazing entertainer. I have been to 2 of his concerts now (gave tickets away to a third concert due to my daughters ill health).
Unfortunately due to how the rather large speakers were set up on stage, Rods image was not to be seen...how extremely disappointing. A number of people around me were complaining also. It ruined the night for me as it was so frustrating not to be able to see this fantastic person doing what he does best. Rod you are the greatest but I will never return to that venue again. Shame on the organisers for the lack of visuals and professionalism!!!
Rock on Rod....we luv ya!!

hey Sue, I assume you mean me by the dummy thing... and I totally agree :(

Rockin Rod still rocks - fantastic show, great entertainer. Rod Stewart has still got it, he can rock my world anytime The only complaint I have is if people can't afford to pay for better seats then they shouldn't spoil it for those who have.

You dummy, you missed the most exciting show ever. Rod was fantastic and he performed all the old favourites. None of his new crooney stuff. The drummer performed a solo that sent the crowd crazy not to mention the Rodettes and the sax player - all marvellous. A perfect evening outside. You missed out - I hope the person who got your tickets enjoyed the show as much as I did.

He was so much better than my expectations! The crooners were out in force. Didnt bother me too much that few were dancing but I was one of them! AWESOME LOVE YA WORK ROd

ROCK'N ROD.. Wow. He has still got it. I grew up with his music, and to see him live was a dream come true. He sounds just as good now. He had the crowd eating out of his hand.. What a man. This man is a true performer. And still loves what he does.
Can't wait for his return.

I absolutely loved it. I've been to a few of Rods concerts but I think last night was far better then his last concert. 2 hours of great music and he really is a top perfomer. So very good. I hope he does come back again soon.

GETS BETTER WITH AGE - A FANTASTIC CONCERT

He was absolutely fantastic!!! I saw him in London as well, but this was a lot more intimate and he gave us an insight to his family life with a video clip. I would definately go see him again.

What a night!
Perfect Weather, Perfect Venue, and Perfect Bum....
Even after all this time Rod Stewart still knows how to put on a show. Worth every penny - despite the stupidly small and uncomfortable plastic chairs... Two Thumbs Up from Me!!

Fantastic. Still rocking and looking terrific. The band and backing singers were great. Loved the movies throughout on the big screen and flashbacks.
Yes-I think your still sexy.

Rod was the consumate professional. His band was high class and very talented. However, we had seats at the top of the grandstand which were allegedly premium seats. The sound for us was atrocious: apart from being ear splittingly louder than ridiculous, the backing band managed to drown out Rod most of the time with the rock songs he sang. We were so far away we couldn't see him either. Oh yes, there was a big screen for that but can someone explain why there had to be a HUGE bank of speakers smack in the middle of our view of the big screen? So we couldnt see him on the big screen either. Did I mention that the roof was rattling because the music was so loud? It was all a huge disappointment, frankly. So Dan, if you gave away seats in the grandstand you did yourself a favour. I will never go back to that venue. It sure wasn't Rod's fault, but the organisers could have done it better.
