Bazza blames the ex

Reports suggest that the reason behind the "brain fade" that Barry Hall suffered in the midst of the knockout blow on Brent Staker, was allegedly due to an heated argument Barry Hall had with his ex-girlfriend some hours before the game.
Whether this is accurate or not, it got us thinking:
- Is this an acceptable excuse?
- Does this change your opinion of Barry Hall?
- Have you used a similar reason to defend something stupid you may have done?
Have your say on Barry's brain fade.

Acceptable? yes if Staker is sleeping with his missus.
No always thought he was thick, who would believe Staker was sleeping with his missus?
Yes I blame Staker that's why Barry CLOCKED him not me.
That answers all 3 questions and is as stupid as they were if mummy smacks you and your upset stay home you big sook.

Brain, what brain?
I don't think Barry Hall even has a brain, but then again he is a smart cookie to use the brain fade as an excuse.
to hit that player of the eagles. Give him more suspension time. Hang on maybe he has got over his brain fade as he is on holidays with his latest squeeze.

No its not acceptable. This is sport and private issues have no place on the field. What on earth are we teaching our children!

No, it is not an acceptable excuse. When Ben Cousins went off the rails because of his relationship problems - he got no sympathy from anyone. If thats what Barry does when he is angry - no wonder his girlfriend left him.
