Mix 94.5

So great to have something new in the top 10. Sometimes its great to give an airing to something fun rather than the same old classics that get the top spot time and time again.

Congratulations on the Big Ticket 1000. It has been probably the best two weeks of music from your station in the last 6 months even though I don't really agree with the choice of number 1. Here's a suggestion scrap your regular, repetitive daily playlist and play the countdown that way we really do get good variety

I always enjoy these types of coundowns. Whilst I was also disappointed in what was the number 1, I can only say to MIX keep these countdowns happening.

Hi all, I really enjoyed the countdown. Even so I have picked out all my fav songs and compiled them onto CD's (for personal use only) but what i really want to know is, was this countdown actually picked by listeners or just at random ?

The Big Ticket 1000 was fantastic to listen to...but like the comments from most of the other listeners....I was disappointed to hear what the No. 1 song was as well....especially with the whole build up to reaching it.....I won't be changing radio stations as I have always enjoyed listening Mix 94.5

Started off decently and took a sharp decline from there.

How Snow Patrol, Bodyrockers, Sweet and George Thorogood are higher placed than The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Guns N' Roses etc. escapes me right now.

Bwah hah hah!!!!!! A song by Fergie in the top 100 of a 1000 song countdown??!! Shouldn't be in the top 5000 of a 5000 song countdown!! thanks for the laugh 94.5. And the number 1 song?. Luckily mix is still the best radio station by a mile, so my dial will be locked on.

I loved the countdown, but must say I have no idea how that noise got to No 1. I absolutely hate it. Should have been ABBA or Meatloaf!

I am on Dave's bandwagon. Big Ticket Countdown, I don't think so. Queen has 4 songs in the top 50 and would sell more concert tickets than the Bodyrockers who have only one song in the 1000. Lets not start on one of the biggest ticket sellers in the last couple of years.. Robbie Williams, 2 complete concerts sold out in record time.

good Lord Macca. the number 1 song was one of the greatest songs to this day, it tackles everyday issues and really speaks to our youth. not really. shocker #1 94.5

Myself and my workmates enjoyed the top 1000, it was fantastic to hear all the songs you don't hear much these days, but we must say we very disappointed and surprised with Number 1. We would be interested to know how the decision was made. Thanks

I have listen to all the whole count down and it was good, then you got to the top ten and I must say I was pretty disappointed. I thought adleast six of the ten were defiantly not top ten material.

The only time this year i have listen u adn im quiet upset with the outcome.

This is awesome, the variey is fantastic. This is the music selection I miss, being up here is Geraldton they don't come close, at least I can tune in on the the computer. Just love it keep it up guys....:-)
