They r the reason I'm a tickitek member. Been a fan since day dot as a school kid in Sydney. They have to come to Brisbane and blow the roof off the Boondal stadium. Life is all about waiting for new acdc albums, concerts and listening to all the good sound they have created.

I am so looking foward to the new ACDC release, I love ACDC ever since my son introduced me to their music about 20 or so long years ago. I have waiting in anticipation for this. So far relying on what I have heard of it, it's a HIT in my book.

No great loss Teresa, AC/DC are Australian icons and have past the test of time. Can't wait for the new album

I love AC/DC, always have and always will, but this AC/DC interview is a bit disappointing - it was advertised as "an hour's interview one on one with AC/DC" Australia's only radio interview with them. Only the lady doing the interview is the only person getting the full hour. We hear Angus and Brian talk for a minute and then songs are played and heeeeeaaapppps of ads!! Don't get me wrong, the songs are fantastic!! But it would be soooo much more fantastic to have been able to hear their actual interview, what they're talking about and what they have been up to and what is on the agenda for Australia. Plus there was no mention of the Australian Tour (on air) anyway.

Great interview Myf!
carnt wait to hear the new album 'Black Ice' at the CD Launch Party on Sunday 19th October, 4pm at the Leopold Hotel with 'OVERDOSE' and Coastal Scottish Pipe Band, tickets through heatseeker.com.au
Call Me Anytime! Doug.

Big surprise. It sounds like every other ACDC song that they have ever released. Believe it or not...someone who doesn't like ACDC. How un-Austraylian!

Posted by debbie miniussi Sunday 21 September, 2008 08:55 AM
Subiaco Oval would be the best venue for a concert. Worked well for Pearl Jam and Robbie Williams. I like the idea of them playing Jailbreak at Fremantle Prison too though.

When are we going to find out the tour dates for AC/DC....when will tickets go on sale and is it a foregone conclusion that they are coming to Perth?
Posted by Michelle Chia Saturday 20 September, 2008 05:17 PM
they should play where the disbled access unlike any of the other bands to tour oz or perth, one thing is the venues with disbled access will allow for more access in general so more tickets to sell, metro city for example is small and no access but as exapmle challenge stadium has plenty space and therefore more tickets to sell and more money to be made as i know lots of people who love ac/dc and have physical disabilities cant go to most gigs because they are at places with no access and this would be just great as i am a huge fan and miss out on a lot of bands playing because of venue choice.

How about Fremantle Prison to play the concert? Would have to be Jailbreak or Thunderstruck. So many. Yes they still have it.
Posted by Tubby Thursday 4 September, 2008 06:02 PM
AC/DC should pay at Claremont Showgrounds where they first showed Bon Scott statue. The best song - well there are so many and don't care but definitely hanging for "back in black". When are they coming and where get tickets.
Posted by Annemare Tuesday 2 September, 2008 07:08 AM
Make it an outdoors concert - Sandalford ... yeah!!!!

Posted by jason Sunday 31 August, 2008 06:31 PM
AC/DC's new song is great. Cant wait for the concert and outdoors is the best way to hear them. Shame wa really has only one venue big enough SUBI OVAL. Ansd its not just for the young ones im 47 and love acca dacca. Long live Bon scott. ac/dc rock

Welcome back to the greatest rock band in the world! Love the Motorplex idea - it would be a great night. Doesn't really matter where so long as I get to see them.
Posted by Rachel Saturday 30 August, 2008 09:37 PM
Bloody brilliant! just heard it for the first time.I think Fremantle wpould be a great venue, especially to play homage to the great Bon Scott. It's a long Way to the top one of the songs I would love to hear at their show
Posted by jody Saturday 30 August, 2008 06:00 PM
OMG!!.. I love their new song, I don't care where they play I will be there, AC/DC , are the best... I'm now 56 years old, they have kept me young..I still head bang all over the house when I hear them sing... go AC/DC... you legends....
Posted by anne powell Saturday 30 August, 2008 09:50 AM
Oh yes, the Rock Gods are back in awesome form. Really hope the boy's can make it back to play in Perth, gotta be an open air venue though, Long live Rock n Roll yea.....

At last... ACDC have lost nothing since SUL. Great song. Can't wait for the rest of it.
Posted by Maggeh Harrison Friday 29 August, 2008 01:16 PM
i love ACDC's New song and i think they should play it at the concert and play at Subiaco because an open air gig would be better
Posted by Gary Taylor Friday 29 August, 2008 06:53 AM
just heard ACDC's new one. bloody insane is all i have to say!!
Posted by MARTO Thursday 28 August, 2008 07:06 PM
Ac/dc should play at the subiaco oval they need an open air gig members equity is a crap place for concerts, indoors won't do them justice outdoors for sure !
Posted by Tracy Cornish Thursday 28 August, 2008 03:01 PM
Just heard acdc's new song and loved it cant wait till they come to perth rock on
Posted by sam Thursday 28 August, 2008 01:22 PM
wish sum 1 would say when they are coming????. definately freo would be great. but then again as long as u can get tickets doesnt matter where they play
Posted by sarah Wednesday 27 August, 2008 12:00 PM
I think AC/DC should play an open air gig at Members Equity Stadium or the WACA not Subiaco Oval. And they shouldn't play any indoor venues like Burswood Dome. I wouldn't mind hearing the boys play there classics as well as there new music from "Black Ice". And at the end of the day I really don't care where they play because I would go.
Posted by Luke Wednesday 27 August, 2008 10:28 AM
What about Lark Hill? I know it's a bit "out of town" but it has capacity, is brand new, is accesible and would not be noisy for the neighbourhood.
Posted by Susanne Wednesday 27 August, 2008 10:24 AM
Open air concert on lanlgey park.... at least more people can attend!!! Assuming that perth is on the tour list!
Posted by Colin Tuesday 26 August, 2008 07:55 PM
all i can say is welcome back guys good luck on the tour.
Posted by Dudley Dally Tuesday 26 August, 2008 02:20 PM
I think ACDC should play in freo cause its where the God of Rock is buried (Bon Scott) So long as they play anywhere in the metro does'nt bother me.
By the way Rich, ACDC are acually aussies only Brian Johnson and Angus Young are Irish. The rest are Aussies
Posted by Daniel Monday 25 August, 2008 06:21 PM
oh my god i cant wait!!!! Im gonna rock out big time, ive been waiting for years to see these guys, defineately should be outdoor venue cause half of perth will wanna be there, are we going to have to fight for tickets?
Posted by lynny Monday 25 August, 2008 05:05 PM
They can play anywhere in Perth and I would go - "Build it and they will come". Bout time for a decent venue really? Of all the concerts of the century, this one will be amazing!! Bring on Dirty Deeds!!
Posted by Lisa Monday 25 August, 2008 02:03 PM
when do the tickets go sale here?
Posted by peta Monday 25 August, 2008 11:08 AM
Acca Dacca rock and my mum grew up with Bon Scot so I will be going to see them no matter what and taking mmy mumto see the band her friend is most famous for!!!!!
Posted by Sharon Sunday 24 August, 2008 10:24 AM
If we can sign petitions in the Territory in 1996 for their show, there shouldn't be any reason why they don't come to Perth!!
Anywhere is fine as long as you can get there on public transport.
Posted by di Saturday 23 August, 2008 05:26 PM
Hells Bells bring em on they are TNT ready to shake ya allnight long watch them explode-Joondalup arena sounds good they can walk back to my house for a cuppa!!
Posted by Judy Saturday 23 August, 2008 02:50 PM
Jane, stop beating around the bush and say what you think.
I think they are alright even though they are not Aussies, lol
Posted by Rich Friday 22 August, 2008 02:21 PM
Fu*k yea bring them, be awesome, yep Bon was so much better, but the name and band still live on! Be a good night out thats for sure.
Posted by Jane Friday 22 August, 2008 09:57 AM
I was pretty dirty that not one showed up for the Bon Scott tribute, but hey i,m over it now. Joondalup Arena would be perfect and Hopefully on a Friday or Sat so we can all party on... Cant wait, will be great..
Posted by Tracy Friday 22 August, 2008 08:41 AM
AC/DC. so many people need the chance to see them before that chance is gone. i cant wait. from what i hear they put on a good show. I can say the burswood dome is the worst venue, bad acoustics, limited room, seating section ridiculous. The concert needs to be open outdoor for as many fans as possible. showgrounds maybe? ac/dc, how could you not be pumped???!!!!
Posted by Reece Thursday 21 August, 2008 11:56 PM
Its great that ACDC are coming. but it cant be at burswood dome like their last tour. have it at subiaco oval or somewhere else big, outside and has good acoutics. Glad they are coming back. cant wait
Posted by paul Thursday 21 August, 2008 10:01 AM
I will say i am over hearing about ac/dc , many year ago my stepson was in a tribute band to them that was great to hear the songs but all this talk about them is driving me nuts after all they are not gods and are not as good as they where when Bon was alive i do not like the new ac/dc, so please less talk of them
Posted by Megan Thursday 21 August, 2008 07:26 AM
we would love to see ac/dc live they put on a great show it's just a shame that they didn't come back for the bon scott tribute, back in feb this yr,but better late than neaver
Posted by kaz Wednesday 20 August, 2008 08:19 PM
I don't care what they sing or where they sing it...i'll be there, can't wait...
AC/DC ROCKS!!!
Posted by Anne Wednesday 20 August, 2008 08:13 PM
It should be held at fremantle oval!! seen as bon scott was from there CANT WAIT TO ROCK ON IF THEY COME HERE!!!
Posted by Lauren Wednesday 20 August, 2008 04:53 PM
Would love to have the chance to see AC/DC live.....they are awesome...even my 17yo daughter and 13yo son want to go and see them. The Claremont Showgrounds would be a great venue...easy access by public transport and loads of room for everyone at the grounds.
Posted by Michelle Chia Wednesday 20 August, 2008 09:23 AM
Kingsway Reserve or Joondalup Arena have capacity's of 30,000, the gig must be out side not in a echo chamber like the Burswood Dome. Claremont & Freo Oval are to small. Call Me Anytime! Doug. Rock On Bon! www.bonscott.com.au

Claremont Showgrounds, after all that's where they unveiled Bon Scott statue and where they held the Bon Scott tribute
Posted by Simone Headley Tuesday 19 August, 2008 04:24 PM
Yep, Kwin motorplex. The ideal bogan venue for the quintessential bogan band.
Posted by Johnno Tuesday 19 August, 2008 01:19 PM
Welcome back the black.... Fremantle Oval should be the venue. But doesn't really matter as long as the sound system is state of the art. I hope that it will be a friendly event. I also hope that my teenage kids can rock on too.....
Go AC/DC... Do us proud.
Posted by Caroline Jones Tuesday 19 August, 2008 01:03 PM
I like the Kwinny Motorplex idea.....as long as they set up the sound stage/speakers correctly! Don't really care where they play, so long as I can get tickets and can see the greatest band on the planet play one last time!!!
Posted by Mike Tuesday 19 August, 2008 12:53 PM
Doesn't matter where they play as long as they play in perth long enough so everyone can go see them!
Posted by Shells Tuesday 19 August, 2008 09:49 AM
The boys should play at Subi Oval for sure
Posted by Courtney Tuesday 19 August, 2008 06:25 AM
AC/DC will always have it no matter how old they get. Perth should allways be the first stop in australia for respect for BON. it dose not matter where they play but fremantle would be a good start so BON's mum can go.
REST in PEACE BON.
Posted by mark pearse Tuesday 19 August, 2008 06:01 AM
They should play Fremantle oval, to commemorate Bon Scott
Posted by Ian Monday 18 August, 2008 08:12 PM
Bring on Acca Dacca to play at My house second option i think would be Subiaco. My teenage kids would be there also as they have been brought up on them
Posted by Judy Monday 18 August, 2008 07:45 PM
I have never seen an AC/DC concert and would love to. They rock and always will. I'd love to hear Highway To Hell and You Shook Me All Night Long. I don't think it should be at subi cause you would want to be closer to them. You would want to see their faces wouldn't you?
Posted by Allana Chatfield Monday 18 August, 2008 07:30 PM
Yea! The boys still have it their music still rocks as they do! Subiaco Oval is a good venue to play. I saw Robbie Williams there twice and it went off.The sound at the burwood dome isnt that good as subiaco would be! Rock On! Let There Be Rock!
Posted by Sandra Thompson Monday 18 August, 2008 07:14 PM
It Doesnt matter where AC/DC play, they will rock the house no matter where they are. Also it doesnt matter if they play at perth first, perth concert's is and will always be better than any other state in australia, thats a fact.
I am totally thrilled that they are comming back its been a long time comming.
Welcome back AC/DC
Posted by joseph troy Monday 18 August, 2008 05:36 PM
freo would be fitting, either the oval or metropolis freo would rock. Bogans would go nuts if it was at freo oval. Shoot to thrill is an awesome song to drive to. p.s metro city has useless aircon and equity stadium should stick to soccer. no idea why these two are the most regular venues, they suk.
Posted by Lurchy Monday 18 August, 2008 04:34 PM
Off course the boys still have it... Always have and always will.... Buswood dome went off last concert and its central so let hear them there again .. Rock on
Posted by jazz letech Monday 18 August, 2008 01:30 PM
AC/DC should definitely play to a Perth Audience. 1st preference would be Subiaco Oval, 2nd preference Burswood Dome. Easy to get to by public transport
Posted by Mary Monday 18 August, 2008 01:10 PM
Fantastic. Saw them at the entertainment centre about 22 years ago. I hope they don't play at the Burswood Dome or Subiaco cause it's crap.
Posted by Jocelyn Longley Monday 18 August, 2008 01:05 PM
Kwinnana Motorplex so they can rock Perth without any noise restrictions. Really put Perth on the map for the greatest rock show ever!!!!
